Quicken for mac 2017 problems september

I've been using Quicken since sometime in the 1990's.

I just updated to the latest September 2017 updates for Quicken on 9/26/17.

My operating system for my Mac is Sierra v. I do have a Hazel action that takes any Quicken backups I make, compresses them into a ZIP archive, and moves them to an archive folder on my server.
